I posted an update on the appropriate Grocery Pages. However, some of you have still asked questions about the change. So I thought I would clear up any confusion.
A few weeks ago, I asked all of you to take a second and fill out a Grocery Store Questionnaire. There are only so many hours in the day… so I wanted to figure out how to best use my time. I figured there were a few grocery store matchups we were doing that were only being used by a handful of people, and I was right.
Because of that, I have decided to no longer feature Grocery Store Matchups for the following stores: Albertson’s Southern California, Bi-Lo, Food Lion, Fry’s, Giant Eagle, Hy-Vee, Publix, Shoprite, Tom Thumb and Winn Dixie.
If you do shop at the following stores, this is what I want you to remember: Freebies2Deals has never done full grocery matchups for any of these stores. We only featured 7 or so of the top deals from the week and then linked you to our Freebies2Deals Expert for that store. If you wanted to see more deals, you would have needed to head to Expert’s website to see the rest of the deals anyway.
If you still want to see Grocery Deals for the Grocery Stores listed above, remember that you can still go to those same Freebies2Deals Expert sites for the full matchups. If you can’t remember where to go, head to the Category drop down list on the right hand side of Freebies2Deals and find your store. So, if you wanted Publix, just click on the Publix Weekly Deals Category link and you will see all past posts… including a link to the Publix Expert.
The deals have not changed for your store… and other than those 7 or so deals, you will still be heading to the same place to see the entire matchup for your store.
This was a hard decision for me. But I think in the end it will really make a difference and help free up some time to post more deals that everyone can grab. Thanks for your understanding! And I hope that cleared up some confusion for all of you! ð
